CERTIFICATION, PAYMENT, & REFUND POLICY

Individual classes may be taken for the advertised price, including any discounts for pre-payment. If a student has pre-paid and is unable to attend, a credit will be issued for up to one year for the student to attend another similar class in that locale. If the student gives 48 hour prior notice of inability to attend, CREI will refund the amount pre-paid to the student, minus a processing fee. The processing fee is $10 if the student has paid by credit card or check.

The final examination, certification and initial membership for a Certification program of the Commercial Real Estate Institute is the amount advertised prior to the student beginning the classes toward certification, as long as the student completes the entire program within 12 months of the date of the first class attended or received for review (correspondence or tape). Cost may increase if the program is not completed in 12 months.

Students who have not taken and passed the final certification exam may not use the term "Certified Specialist" or any similar term.

In the event a prepaid student does not complete a certification program, the student may request to the Institute, within 1 year of the first class taken, a partial refund for the untaken classes, at $25 per class, minus an enrollment and cancellation fee of $80. There are no refunds after 12 months following the first class payment.

If you have paid for a class, you may re-sit (audit) the same class again at no additional cost for a period of 12 months from the date of your attendance of that class, but you will not receive an additional Continuing Education certification for the same class taken within 12 months.
